The Sport’ variant is available for the festive season and is placed above the current top spec S’ variant of the redi-GO. On the exterior, the car gets prominent racing stripes on the hood extending towards the back and on the sides. The honeycomb design of the trapezoidal front grille gets a red contrast highlight, while a blacked out treatment has been given to the chrome bezel surrounding the grille. A similar blacked out treatment has been given to the lower scuff plates of both bumpers and wheel caps. The sportiness of the exteriors continues in the interiors as well. The Sport’ variant of the redi-GO receives a Sporty dashboard, black interiors with red stitching. It also gets Bluetooth connectivity, remote keyless entry and rear parking sensors to make reversing into tight spaces easer. Under the hood, the Sport’ variant of the redi-GO is powered by the same 799cc three-cylinder motor that produces 54PS of power and 72Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox transmitting power to the front wheels. The Datsun redi-Go Sport is available in the three colour options of Ruby, White and Grey. In the entry-level hatchback segment, the Datsun redi-Go competes against the likes of the Renault Kwid, Hyundai Eon and the Maruti Suzuki Alto.
